Minutes of the AGM 2002 ISOC-Bangladesh chapter, December 26, 2002,

1   Report of Secretary on progress of works during year 2002.  

 Secretary read out the report on progress of works during 2002, including the number of new members enrolled with the chapter. All members were updated and will posted in the web site, with a notification to ISOC HQ.

2    Selection/Election for the Treasurer of the Executive Committee.

 All members present anonymously selected Mr. Shawkat Hossain Mollah of Bangladesh Open University for the post.

3.   Arranging a general workshop

Necessary arrangement will be made at an early date to held a one day/ half day workshop on contemporary "ICT Policies in Bangladesh and role of ISOC Bangladesh Chapter".

4.   Sponsorship programme

The Organizing Secretary has given the responsibility to arrange necessary sponsorship to held the next workshop.

5.   Appointment of an office bearer.

A student of ICMS Computer College voluntarily agreed to spend at least four-six hours per week to assist the Executive Committee.

6.   Miscellaneous.

Newly appointed Treasurer kindly agreed to sponsor necessary name cards for all the Executive Members.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks from the Chairperson.
